OBI is one of the largest English language trade publishers in the Indian subcontinent and has been a leading force in the Indian book industries for several years. Headquartered in Noida, the company’s activities include, among others, publishing its own books in English and Hindi. Founded by Shri Om Prakash Mago in 1963, OBI began publishing in 1993 with 11 titles. Starting with coffee-table books on Lifestyle, Bollywood, OBI has steadily added to its list … books on Nature and Wildlife, Fashion, Heritage and Culture, Management, Health & Fitness, Cookery, Architecture and Interiors, pictorial books for children and more. Today, OBI publishes more than 75-100 new titles every year and has an active backlist of over 600 titles.
